Research StatementI am interested in the application of machine learning and pattern recognition techniques in temporal data. I am particularly interested in unsupervised methods under a probabilistic framework since they are the necessary elements to enable machines to perceive reliably their environment, learn efficiently and act in a principled manner. Currently I am working on the fusion of audio and visual streams coming from off-the self equipment.
Probabilistic Models I am very much interested in the application of probabilistic models in real world problems. I am particularly interested in the use of P.M. as a tool to achieve efficient sensor fusion. I am afraid though that after "Probabilistic models are a marriage between probability theory and graph theory.
