Teach·ing (t ch ng) n.1. The act, practice, occupation, or profession of a teacher. 2. a. Something taught. b. Me teaching in Springfield A precept or doctrine. Often used in the plural: the teachings of Buddha. Personally, I find teaching the most pleasant obligation in acedemia. In the past I have taught courses in different levels, varying from high-school mathematics to MSc-level Machine Learning. Currently I am a teaching assistant in the postgraduate course of Machine Learning and Patter Recognition for the University of Amsterdam. If you are following the UvA MLPR course please register using the log-in form on the right and email me in order to give you the student privileges! We will try to organize the lectures handouts, exercises and discussion forums on a weekly basis and allow real-time feedback in order to improve the quality of the course. Students found this course particularly challenging the previous years and I hope better organization will give them a chance to focus on studying and only. Human learning is still decades ahead of machines, let's facilitate it! If you are not a student but still interested in the material of the course (for any reason) please inform me about it using this [link] , and I will give you access to the corresponding sections. I am happy to help people and share my material. However, they are free for strictly non-profit purposes!
